Great success with school workshops.

I recently did two workshops for schools. The first was in February at Fakenham High School in Norfolk. It was an all day event and I worked with the Year 8 students.

For a first time experience, it was incredible. I now know first-hand how it feels to address a crowd and have them not only listen to you but actually show interest. It was a particular thrill to read aloud from The Appointed (also a first time experience). Afterwards we did some group discussions and activities. The highlight for me was the Making-Up-A-Story exercise. The children rose to the occasion magnificently. It was a treat to watch their imaginations take flight.

The second workshop was in March at Newport Junior School in Aldershot. I did an hour long question and answer session with the Year 5 students which was both a privilege and enormous fun.
