The Appointed – synopsis

An evil ruling tyrant, in a world few people know exists, needs only one thing to make his ruthless power complete – a deadly weapon capable of controlling or killing its victims and threatening an entire civilization. Legends tell of a saviour who will return one day to challenge the tyrant and save the impoverished and enslaved people.

Another world away, Fiona Armstrong, set to become a champion swimmer, has no idea of the extraordinary events awaiting her when she meets the mysterious new lifeguard ’Christophe’, a warrior in search of the saviour and one who is determined to succeed in his mission at all costs. Before long, her destiny becomes frighteningly apparent and her life is altered beyond all recognition.

Is Fiona really the saviour that Christophe believes her to be? Is this a case of mistaken identity or is she indeed The Appointed?
