The Betrayer – synopsis

Two years have passed since Alfredo’s defeat, but for Christophe and his fellow Guardians, there is still a city to protect. A mysterious murderer is stalking the streets by night and Christophe is at a loss to discover the culprit.

Back on Earth, Fiona is struggling to come to terms with James’s death. To make matters worse, the magical key she inherited from her father is sending her strange warnings which she is finding impossible to ignore. The warnings culminate in Fiona being drawn back to the world she hoped never to see again.

Katie has completed her magical training and her mentor has set her a task. To find and destroy the magical order her father once belonged to. She will need the help of those she once counted friends, but will they be able to put aside their mistrust of her? Can they work with the girl they have dubbed The Betrayer?
